John Jones... Before there was Bella

John has been getting a little lonely, so he's being slightly inappropriate. Here, the tween, Janet Summers is talking to John while he's in his PJ's. He maintains an awkward silence. "I've never been kissed you know."

Realising that she's made a bit of a gaff, she changes the subject.
"It's been a bit cloudy, hasn't it?"

 

Yay! thinks John.
"Oh yes, he says. But the sun always comes out again."

"But I still want to be kissed sometime."

More awkward silence from John.

Sim-Handler: Well John, if you didn't want her to talk about this sort of thing, you shouldn't be giving her money shots in your pj's.

John finally addresses the situation. He crosses his legs.
"One day you'll find a boy to kiss."

"In the city"

Without another word, Janet gets up and leaves.

Sim-Handler: Nice one John. You handled that well... So now who are you going to talk to? Hmmm?

John will be a farmer all his life. He has traditional and conservative views, and a strong belief in Big Hand in the Sky (BHIS). All he wants from life is to cook, to farm and to love his Bella. And maybe have lots of little Joneses.

Bella had no hesitations in accepting John's proposal (It was a green memory!) which is pretty surprising for a Romance sim. Her Life time Want is to woohoo with 20 sims, so traditional fidelity will be something that she will find difficult if she accepts life on John's terms. Bella is more of a go with the flow sort of girl and has no strong beliefs in BHIS either way.  Her marriage with John will be as the chinese say 'Interesting times'.

When Zenna awoke. It was peacefully dark and silent. The voices, and the drink were gone. Her bag was neatly at the end of the bed.

She felt the feel of the blanket against her cheek, and tucked around her body. Like she was in a cocoon of warmth.

"It's only 4:30pm, we have plenty of time." Reginald looked at his watch a second time.
